August 2004: ITS successfully completed a 10,000 Virtual User load testing project for TABCorp’s Internet based secure waging system, using their full Production environment. This testing comprised of planning the strategic approach to the testing, developing automated scripts to simulate typical user activities, execution of the load testing during non Production hours and the analysis of recorded test results to provide TABCorp with a comprehensive test report.

April 2004: ITS was selected to facilitate the SEA Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP) training courses in Adelaide. Our associates provided expert assistance during the course practicals that provide students with a hands-on learning environment to consolidate the theory previously covered in the class room.

March 2004: ITS was selected to support the acceptance testing of SA’s new parliamentary reporting system (Hansard). This critical information system provides daily and weekly reports on state parliament discussions and voting to both government and public users. ITS’s role in the project is to assist with the planning, design and execution of formal acceptance testing to ensure all business critical functionality and performance is available to the business.

February 2004: ITS successfully completed functional and performance testing for IAS’s new web based wagering system in Melbourne. With all critical business operations being dependent on IAS’s new Internet based wagering site, ITS provided formal functional testing against business requirements as well as several cycles of load testing to ensure continued performance during the large peaks of expected demand. Our testing successfully improved the web site response times by over 20 times and gave IAS the confidence in going live with their new web site.

November 2003: The Department of Environment and Heritage in SA selected ITS to provide test process improvement services. The IT management was considering how test tools could further enhance efficiencies of existing testing processes. ITS was engaged to advise on how best this could be done. The project successfully highlighted and addressed any existing deficiencies in software testing processes prior to the department making any significant investment in testing tools.

October 2003: Petrosys, an Internationally recognised software products company for the Petroleum & Exploration Industry, selected ITS to provide test advisory services to improve their internal software testing methodologies. This work used the industry proven TPI methodology that has been extended by ITS for the IT industry.
