Roads & Traffic Authority, NSW: The RTA in NSW selected Peter Hanlon from ITS to head up their Quality Control section and be responsible for the software testing of the DRIVES system and other business critical eBusiness applications. Peter was also responsible for process improvement, outsourced testing management and implementing testing tools. After this initial intensive period of providing direct management support, the operation management has now been successfully handed over to a permanent staff member and ITS are continuing to support strategic testing related initiatives.

Department of Environment & Heritage, SA: DEH were considering the implementation of testing related tools and they approached ITS for assistance. After review of the existing testing process maturity, ITS made recommendation on which test processes needed improvement and which tools were most suitable. ITS then provided on going test mentoring to a number of internal projects.
Department of Health, SA: DHS had used an external developer to build a business critical application and now was required to conduct acceptance testing to ensure the work was complete. ITS assisted with the development of structured test planning and design to provide the department with test procedures that they could use to conduct the testing.
Department of Education & Children, SA: DECS had invested in the Mercury test tool suit but required some hands on training and mentoring to improve the effectiveness of the tools. ITS provided experienced personnel to provide training in the use of TestDirector and QuickTest Pro.
Parliamentary Reporting Division: PRD has outsourced the development of a new Hansard system to an external developer and now required assistance with acceptance testing. Through the use of test management tools, ITS was successful in working closely with end users to develop an acceptance testing plan and procedures. This information was used by end users to conduct tests and ITS facilitated the defect management process. The involvement of ITS was noted by both the client and developer as being invaluable in completing the project.
Centrelink: With some of the largest computer systems in Australia, Centrelink required experienced personnel to assist with performance testing and tuning. ITS provided skilled personnel to assist with several projects.
